Family First Loan (formerly the Holiday Loan)

We’re thrilled to introduce our revamped loan product now known as the ‘Family First Loan’! This exciting name change reflects our commitment to putting family values and financial well-being at the forefront. With the ‘Family First Loan,’ you can now access funds not just for holiday expenses, but for all your family’s needs and aspirations. We believe in supporting your long-term financial goals, and the ‘Family First Loan’ embodies that dedication. Join us in prioritizing what matters most – your family’s future – with our newly enhanced loan product.

Here’s more details about the application process & guidelines:

  • Family First loans are up to $1,000 and offered year-round
  • Payback period of 12  months (builds credit when paid consistently)
  • No interest – flat fee of $100 rolled into the loan amount
  • Employment for a minimum of 6 months with no gaps, breaks, or transfers during that time
  • Income needed beyond Ho-Chunk tribal member GWE
  • No more than $10,000 in collections and judgements on your credit report
  • For HCN employees we ask for a voluntary wage assignment
