Emergency Assistance Program
First Nations Community Financial (FNCF) services all clients referred by Social Services for their emergency services program. Depending on staff available, an appointment for this service can usually be made that day. However, FNCF does reserve the right to make appointments when convenient to both parties.
After the client is referred by the Director of Emergency Services, FNCF processes information pertaining to the fixed expenses of a client, the variable expenses of a client, then the amount of debt owed and compares this to the amount of income.
FNCF provides this service usually in an hour so make sure you plan accordingly. Once the interview is complete, FNCF provides all relevant information back to HCN Social Services. This completes the process.
